Bangalore-Bhubaneswar flight from Oct 29

Pioneer News Service | Bhubaneswar Good news for IT honchos! Now, they will not have to go hopping in order to reach Bhubaneswar from Bangalore. State-owned 'Indian' is starting a direct flight between Bangalore and Bhubaneswar from October 29. The flights IC 7541/42 would be a daily routine via Chennai.

The journey would not involve any change of aircraft and would engage them a ground halt time at Chennai of 45 minutes only.

The starting time from Bangalore is 8:30 am and it would reach Bhubaneswar at 11:55 am. On the return path, starting time is 15:55 pm and arrival is at 19:15 pm. The fare is very economical and starts at Rs 4,190 (all inclusive).

Air Deccan , the country's first low-cost carrier, has also rescheduled the date of its new flight from New Delhi to Bhubaneswar, which was supposed to be started from October 30. The new date has been given by Air Deccan as November 20.

Earlier, it was decided to introduce its flight DN 730/731 from New Delhi to Bhubaneswar for six days a week except Tuesday.

The starting time from New Delhi is 12.10 pm covering the distance in just two hours. The flight leaves Bhubaneswar at 14.40 pm and reaches the national capital at 16.40 pm.
